Met Lane, Esq.

Attorney & Founder

Met Lane was born and raised in Carrollton, Georgia. He graduated from Furman University with a B.A. and earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served on Moot Court.

From 2002 to 2005, Met was an Assistant District Attorney for Georgia’s Coweta Judicial Circuit—which then included Carroll, Heard, Coweta, Meriwether, and Troup counties. He handled hundreds of cases ranging from DUI to drug trafficking and earned many successful trial verdicts as a prosecutor. Met has been admitted to the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Court.

Before starting his own firm in 2021, Met was a partner in Carrollton for 16 years with a premier estate and litigation firm. Over the last 20 years he has handled hundreds of civil cases—personal injury, family law, contract disputes, estate & trust disputes, and criminal matters—and has tried numerous civil and criminal cases throughout Georgia, winning successful verdicts on behalf of his clients.

Met has been highly active in serving his community. He served on the Carrollton City Council from 2017 to 2020 and has given his time to numerous civic and charitable organizations, including Carrollton Rotary, Habitat for Humanity, and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).

Met and his wife, Corbett, live in Carrollton and have three children in the Carrollton city school system. Met and his family are members of First Methodist Carrollton.

Leslie Willis

Senior Legal Assistant

Leslie has over 20 years' experience as a litigation legal assistant. She specializes in personal injury and loves to help the people in her community. Leslie has been very successful navigating the process for hundreds of injured people and helping provide successful results on their cases. Before joining Met Lane when he started his practice in 2021, she worked closely with other firms throughout her career, building prominent personal injury practices and helping people from all walks of life. Leslie is also skillful and supportive with domestic cases — her experience helps provide guidance and care during a difficult process.

Leslie was born and raised in Cobb County, graduating from Lassiter High School, and attended the University of West Georgia. She transplanted to Carroll County, where she has raised her five children. Leslie has three successful adult children who graduated from Villa Rica High School and two currently enrolled in the Carrollton City school system. She is very active in her community through CASA, is a vivid advocate for the mental health community, and an avid sports lover.
